We're reviewing the Life Stories proofs one last time this weekend, then it's off to print on Monday! These nineteen short stories are truly amazing... such a diversity of experience and styles... such life and humor and intelligence in every one of them. One can hope that there will actually be two great side effects of this endeavor: not only will all the money from sales go to benefit Russian hospice care, but readers will be introduced to the talents of 19 modern Russian writers, beautifully translated into English.
The book officially goes on sale September 1, 2009. But as soon as copies are available, there will be a link to order them from this page. They will also be for sale via Amazon (but, in that instance, a chunk of the sales price goes to Amazon, rather than to hospice, but no way around that I guess, eh Jeff Bezos?).
